Hi :) I just stumbled on your blog from the lovely Pinterest. I LOVE your style, especially this style board. I'm wondering - what did you have in mind for the card catalog. We have an old wooden one at the family farm that I've always loved but didn't have a purpose for. Wondering what your plans for it were? Eriva from http://ekingston.blogspot.com/
Hey Erica! This is one of my favorite style boards, too. There are so many kinds of card catalogs - some with legs, smaller ones, all wooden ones, big drawers, small drawers. What does yours look like? I envisioned this one to be used for a changing table. A pad could easily be bought to put on top, and there would be space to store all of the necessities like wipes, ointment, extra onesies...pretty much all of the stuff no one wants to look at. Little drawers for a little person, right?
Also, I checked out your blog - CONGRATULATIONS on the little one coming!
Thanks for your ideas! The card catalog we have is about 4 drawers high and probably a little longer than the one you have posted on your board. It's wood and the drawers have these fantastic brass handles. It's short, so I was thinking of making it into a table for beside the nursery chair or just extra storage someplace. I love your idea of a changing table! It would be great with the million little storage options :)
I wish you and your husband the BEST of luck starting a little family. I can't imagine everything you guys are working on and going through. You'll be in our prayers.
